We will create a comprehensive landscape design for your yard that will exceed your expectations.
The first step is to have a meeting at your home in your yard. This meeting should include all those interested in having input into the design. You should be ready to prioritize the uses and features you would like to include in the new space. It is helpful to have any photos of things you like available to me to help describe this. Also, tell me about things you don’t like about your yard or other things you see as a problem you would like addressed- now is the time!
Before I leave, I will take many notes about our conversation, measurements of the areas and many pictures of the space. Back at my office, I will layout a scale for a plan view of the space and transfer all relevant information into it. Then I will start drafting a sketch based on all of the key uses and features we discussed and creatively incorporate them into the space using the fundamentals listed below.

Pay special attention to how the new outdoor space is incorporated into the existing home and the rest of the yard.
I scrutinize how much space is needed for things like dining areas, grilling areas, fire features and pool areas. It is also important to understand the traffic patterns associated with each one are unique to each use.
I will address any other conditions on the site that I see as potential problems to the property such as drainage, tree issues, underground utilities.
